Just because there isn't a better alternative, I'm going to update any book signings I schedule using this post. As soon as I confirm a new signing, I'll update this post (and put stuff on Twitter and Facebook too), so check back here regularly if you don't want to miss out on signings. As of right now (look at the date on this post to see what "right now" means), here are the signings I have lined up:
Monday April 16 @ 7 pm - Ohio State University
Barnes & Noble - The Ohio State University Bookstore
1598 N. High Street
Columbus, OH 43201
Wednesday April 18 @ 1 pm - Indiana University
Indiana University Bloomington Bookstore
Wednesday April 25 @ 2 pm - Miami (OH) University
Miami University Bookstore
Wednesday July 11 @ 7 pm - Thurber House: 2012 New Voices Literary Picnic Series (Columbus, Ohio)
They've asked me to take an hour to speak about my book, read an excerpt, and/or have a Q&A session before doing the signing. This seems like a somewhat prestigious event for people in the literary world, which is why I'm crossing my fingers that the Trillion Man March will show up in droves and laugh along with me as I read dick jokes from my book in front of a bunch of people who smoke pipes and wear monocles and tweed jackets with elbow patches.
The Thurber House
We're still working on setting up signings in the near future at the University of Illinois and Ohio University, and the cities of Dayton, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Akron, and Toledo. And when the paperback comes out in the fall/early winter, I'll try to get to Penn State University, the University of Wisconsin, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Iowa, as well as the cities of Indianapolis, Columbus, Charlotte, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Chicago, New York, and possibly even a few others.
One last thing: For those of you reading this in East Lansing or West Lafayette, I regret to inform you that Michigan State and Purdue both declined to host me for a signing, probably because they want their female students focusing on their studies instead of trying to grip my tip like they no doubt would've done. So if you want me to come to your school for a signing, I suggest you smack some sense into the people who run your university bookstores. Otherwise you and your second-rate schools can suck a wet one.
